Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. As an RBT, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role is vital in helping clients develop essential skills, manage behaviors, and achieve greater independence. This position offers an engaging environment where your efforts directly contribute to positive, meaningful change in the lives of those we serve.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized behavioral therapy interventions based on approved treatment plans and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.

  • Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, skill acquisition, and progress to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines, fostering independence.

  • Support clients during teaching sessions by utilizing reinforcement strategies and prompting techniques to encourage desired behaviors.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive medical records and documentation.

  • Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies and progress monitoring.

  • Participate in regular supervision meetings with BCBA supervisors to review client progress and refine intervention strategies.

​Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.

  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies.

  • Ability to assist clients with ADLs and implement teaching methods tailored to individual needs.

  • Strong data collection skills to track behavioral progress accurately and efficiently.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and care plan implementation is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and families.

  • Must adhere to HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality of all medical records and client information.
